2022 California Earthquake Certification Requirements Updates for Adjuster CE

The CA Dept. of Insurance released updates to the CA Earthquake Certificate for Adjuster CE.

The adjuster CE helps Adjusters who work California earthquakes to become familiar with these updates:

  • Extending earthquake coverage to rebuilding on a different site
  • New coverage limits and sub-limits
  • New major CEA checklist guidelines and repair standards
  • The California Adjuster Act

What this means for you:

To work on California earthquake claims, you must update your California Earthquake Certificate. It is due by December 31, 2022. We offer a course covering the new information. You also need your annual Fair Claims Certificate completed before September 1, 2022.

Even with a renewed certificate, you need an updated course. You can’t work Earthquake claims Without an updated course before December 31, 2022.
